FIX Test Request ID Field Length Enhancement

TMX Equities is announcing a technical update to existing Test Request and Heartbeat messages to support up to 30 characters in the field TestReqID (tag value 112). On Test Requests initiated by the exchange, exchange systems will continue to send 8 character TestRequestID values and client systems should continue to echo these values back on the responding Heartbeat. On Test Requests initiated by clients, client systems may send up to 30 character TestRequestID values and exchange systems will echo these values back on the responding Heartbeat.

We anticipate that the Test Request update will be available for testing within the GTE environment effective June 20th, 2022 and is expected to be available within the production environment on August 22nd, 2022.
