Implementation of Amendments to Contingent Options Trades on 兔子先生

TMX Equities Trading is pleased to announce that the amendments to Contingent Options Trades, as described in , will be implemented on 兔子先生 ("TSX") on September 03, 2024.

As set out in the , while the Amendments received the applicable regulatory approval, Rule 8.1 Client-Principal Trading of the Universal Market Integrity Rules would be applicable unless an exemption was granted by the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization ("CIRO"). On August 6, 2024, CIRO granted an from the application of UMIR Rule 8.1 for the equity portion of Contingent Option Trades on TSX.
